Don’t get me wrong I love dogs. We’re at the lake and over the last few nights dogs are barking uncontrollably all thru the nights. Keeping us and other campers awake. We’ve talked to some owners and it just falls on deaf ears. Even talked to the park staff and they talked to the dog owners. Still the same. Is there some kind of sound emitting device that dogs can only hear that I can use to quiet them does at least for a while. Thanks. Kim

$180 fine.. lol.. for dogs barking in the provincial park across from us. Warden and workers drive around in an F150 with the A/C on and the windows up. Calls get " what camp site are you on" . NO... I'm a tax payer, not a 35 buck a nighter.... nothing gets done. Bear bangers at 4am...

I am surrounded by dogs and if one is out it will be barking. 2 bark at each other and 3 or more are a chorus. The one across the street is directly across from our bedroom. It get's let out to bark at 5:30 most mornings. 
I’m surrounded by dogs in my neighborhood, small and large dogs, the small ones seem to bark the most. I love animals, I love dogs, I don’t like constant barking and the owners just don’t care when they let them outside.
These dogs are outside all day and night.
There is a device called a dog dazer that admits a high frequency sound that is painful to most dog's ears and works well on some dogs but not on all dogs. But you need to be fairly close for it to have a strong effect I would say 50 ft. At the most.
When I had my 01 Dodge Diesel I would fire it up for a couple hours b4 quiet time. That helped some and then a lot if there was a cool breeze filtering the exhaust their way. Dam, I miss that truck.
Some are about 20-30 feet away. Or I could go for a walk.
Our next door neighbor has two "real hunting dogs" as he calls them that are penned up all day and night. Their pen borders our fence.
They will often start barking in the middle of the night. My guess is an animal is close by, as we border 475,000 acres of Air Force Base.
When we first bought our house, we noticed a little black box hanging on our fence next to their pen. I googled a picture of the box and found it to be one of those no barking things. I put a new 9v battery in it. The lights all worked but it didn't do a damn thing to keep the dogs quiet.
Like you, I love dogs and have 5 rescues. But we don't allow ours to barking much anytime, let alone in the middle of the night.
The owner brought me a bunch of deer meat one day after a long night of barking, so at least he recognizes the issue.
I keep ear plugs on my nightstand. I also bought and installed high density foam in the two bedroom windows. Seems to help a little!!

Dogs and crowing roosters at 4:30 am every day, I'm trying to remain calm but more likely I'm going to pop a roosters head off one morning before the coffee is done.
I can deal with the dogs, but the F'n neighbor told me his wife keeps the rooster because it reminds her of growing up on the farm.
I told him this ain't Green Acres, so be warned.

I love dogs too, Im an animal lover in general. But I simply cannot tolerate dog owners that feel like they can let their precious Fido's bark whenever they want and/or piss or **** wherever they want(usually on my grass).
It always comes down to bad owners, not bad dogs.

LOL......We had friends at that campground just across the channel and they heard the Bear Bangers.........Scared the **** out of them. They complained to the warded about their neighbours gun shots and that started a whole investigation.
Too bad we don't eat dogs on this side of the world.
Lol... Campfire island and his buddy across on island 27 fire them off just to tell each other supper is ready and I'm on my way!
