Don’t forget Daylight Saving Time, begins on Sunday

-
I heard there’s a bill before Congress to make it permanent. We shall see.

Just thinking this last night. Days getting noticeably longer, and some better/ clearer weather (opposed to overcast) allows the effects to 'show through'. It was still somewhat barely light at 6PM. so switching time will be a great addition. There seems to be some argument as to whether "permanent" would put an area on daylight time (which I'd desire) vs "standard time". I would not want standard time year round. The stupid thing, is that southern ID is on mountain time, and up here "in the north" we are on pacific time.

My daughter lived in Alabama for a few years and she was right near the Central/Eastern time zone border. Got dark around 4 PM in winter, also there were towns a little distance away in AL. that didn't change there time like the rest of the state.

Biggest share of Arizona hasn't messed with this for 40 years. I'm not too sure if I like all aspects of the new proposal or not. It would put us in Pacific time permanently.

What time zone is Arizona in now? Mountain time?

I moved my clocks ahead 1 hour this morning here in california, so we are now on daylight saving time, and are at the same time as arizona. But arizona doesnt change, so they are essentially on daylight saving all year round, they just dont call it that.
