Door Button

so i went to leave work yesterday and pushed the button to pen the door. thought i heard something fall in the door when i pushed in the button. so what did i do?? tried to push again and see if something else falls....

well it did the whole Damned button fell in. i see in the "Body Manual" a few pictures but is there any where else to get a good idea of what im about to run into when i remove the door card to see what can be done?
does it require removing the top metal panel as well?

once again any help would be greatly appreciated.

Appreciate it. I’ll be taking it apart and seeing what came loose. Or with my luck what broke.

Usually the screw backs out and the lower tab comes out of the hole in the handle. Sometimes the screw breaks out of the treaded hole ruining the handle. You may get lucky and the screw backed all the way out and just fell off.
