Door hinge rebuild kits

I just came from Year One, looking for hinge rebuild kits and door striker pegs for a 71' Demon. Holy Sh*t Batman! Is there any place you know of that I can pick them up cheaper?

I don't kow about the peg, but the HELP section at auto parts stores carry this stuff. Ask for there catolog and poke around.

OH, junk yards for pegs? They use the same pegs on a million different things and other makes as well.

I bought my hinge repair kits with bushings from NAPA. They weren't very expensive at all.

I know user res1vw21 was rebuilding them, for a great price. Try contacting him and asking him about them.

I got mine from ebay . Enough for 4 hindges. About 12 bones I think.
I've seen NOS striker posts on ebay too. 35 per pair maybe ?

I got hinge kits at Autozone as well. The striker pins you can find at a junk yard, look at 4dr cars and get them from the rear, there usually in great shape since the rear doors didn't get used as much.
