Hello Everyone,
I am looking for a source for the correct dowel pins for my 340 build to be exact......... But suspecting that all LA series are the same size (Not confirmed)
purely speculation on my part but would not think they are any different. Still wanting / needing a reliable source for purchase. Thanks as always Texas Red

I would like to purchase both as my machinist is using a puller to remove them for block decking. Transmission dowels are needed as well for
the same block. Please advise . Thanks Texas Red

5/16 x 1/2" long pins, $10 for a pack of 25

McMaster-Carr

You have to measure the pin diameter and lengths you need and just order the sizes you want. Everyone in this hobby should be aware of McMaster they have everything.

4 Speed or Auto. Aren't they different?
According to Mancini, they are the same

“Fits: A, B/RB & 426 Hemi blocks

OE Mopar engine block to transmission bellhousing dowel pin set.

Standard dowel pins - No offset

Works with automatic or manual transmission bellhousings.”

Years ago, a friend dialed in a 4-speed bell for me using offset dowels. I later used the engine with a 727 and car driveline had a vibration. Took me almost a year to figure it out I put standard dowels in it and cured it.
