Sorry for the extended downtime today, the server move and DNS propagation took longer than expected.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled Forums.

Thanks Mikel .. I was starting to have withdrawls ... :blob:

Hey, did you get your Duster figured out? Are you ready to go racing? Gonna be sending out a VB your way here .. hopefully you're ready to go! :salut:

:thumrigh: Hmm got a little quicker too.
After I got back from vacation the switch from portal to forum was much better also. Don't know what you guys did but Good Job. :thumleft:

The problem now is that it's on the new server, but the DNS propagation hasn't completed, so some people can't get to it. I'm one of those people, I got in through the "super-secret" back door. ;-)

It should be all good, soon... Hang in there, everybody.

I can get in with firefox but not if Im use IE.

That's odd. Shouldn't have anything to do with your browser.

It'll all be fixed, soon... Just takes time.

I snuck a peek at the CPU load on the new server. The old server was usually around 3, sometimes up to 4. The new one shows 0.47 average.

I didnt think the browser should make a differance but it did so I wont complain.

Mucho faster now!

Really? Cool!

Adam - it should be working with all of your browers now... Let me know if isn't.

I was starting to wonder... it wasn't working as of midnight last night, but obviously it works this morning. Ans it does seem faster. :thumleft:

Hey Mikel I still have to use the ultra top secret back door inorder to get into this site.

What happens if you use the real URL? You still get the "board disabled" message?

Yes! To make sure it wasn't a browser issue I cleared everything in firefox and still a no go than I tested with IE and that was a no go either.

You just gotta wait, I guess. DNS will propagate to you eventually...

I'm glad it's back up and running :D i was starting to have withdrawals and found myself lurking around moparts last night until 10o'clock when the power went out!
Turns out some jackass broke into a switch station and shut power off to 11 thousand people! :axe:

Would not have been so bad if it were summer but it was 20degrees when the power went out!
