Dr. Orders no shop time today so let’s cook.

I got a cortisone shot in both knees this morning and the doctor said no shop today. So I stopped on the way home and picked up two packages of .99 cent chicken thighs, 10 pounds of red skin potatoes, and ingredients to make spaghetti. Sauce is on and simmering with 4.5 pounds of browned and drained ground meat, two onions, two cans of whole tomatoes cut up, seasoning, and a jar of Prego Traditional spaghetti sauce. NHRA drag racing on all weekend long and I’ll have some quick warmup food as I’m back in the shop tomorrow.

Well I put my sauce back on low this morning and worked in the shop till almost 8 pm. Boiled the water and seven minutes later I was putting the sauce on the noodles. Dinner time. Time to eat and watch some NHRA qualifying I recorded.
