Drinks to balance sugar and burn fat

-

I'm on the one-meal-a-day diet. Fantastic belly-fat burner. I'm down to 88kgs/194 pounds, from over 107/235 just 3 years go. Mind you, I lost 33 of those when I got Covid and didn't eat for 10 days, lol.
I step on the scales once a day, just to watch progress. Sometimes I'm down around 191/192 . I'm looking ahead to a consistent 185.
Boy I'll tell ya, losing 40 pounds has made a big improvement on my ability to do everyday things, like getting up/down from and to the floor.
I found that, on the one-meal-a-day diet, which is about 23 consecutive hours of fasting, I can pretty much drink about anything I want, so long as I limit myself to three sugar drinks a day, mixing it up a bit between, Milk, Fruit juices, and Pop of course. Milk is my go-to drink, easily a liter a day.
I know I could lose weight faster if I cut them right out, but, but, but,
But losing a pound per month, sometimes 2, I'm good with that, and, I'm getting used to hearing my belly complain about it.
Good luck.

AJ, good to hear from ya! Thanks for your input and weight loss. One meal a day must take some real determination to achieve. I'm too easily distracted by the snacks around here. Shopping at Menard's is easily a bag full of popcorn type snacks and cookies...which are probably the worse stuff to eat. Usually my drinks are water (RO filtered) and a mixture of teas I let cold brew. Milk bothers my allergies but a glass of full fat once in a great moon is wonderful. My Wife does the scale maybe once a month at the health club. Me, maybe once or twice a year depending on the amount of Doctor visits. I get used to the tummy grumbles...best time was when the Boss called for a meeting during my lunch time. Could not have planned it better, it just kept thundering! He wondered what the problem was. Said it's my lunch time and I'm hungry! Sorry for the rambling.

I have been on the "fasting" diet as well for about 6 months. I was 237 when I started and am under 200 for the first time in 10 years. I cut out all sodas , chips , cookies and other unhealthy crap. I drink black coffee in the morning , water during the day and brewed green and black ice tea in the evenings. I feel so much better and even had to buy new pants , shirts and coats. I also added Extra Virgin Olive Oil to my morning and evenings. There are ALOT of benefits to your overall health with EVOO look into it.
