I have a good used 1 pulled from a 1970 duster with 904 trans and 8 3/4 rear axle. Went with 727 and custom shaft. It'll be a few days before I can measure.

how did you measure so it can be measured the same - I have a Denny's STR 3 that I would sell. message if interested

I might have one, came from a 74 Dart Sport that I put a 8 3/4 rear in. I would have to measure, and I think that it is a small u joint

They were not asking the origin of your measurement information. They were asking you WHERE on your drive shaft you measured from so they can measure the same way.

I've got a nice 51.25" u-joints center-to-center driveshaft with 904 yoke. Good u-joints.

I can't find a consistent spec for a 108" A-body w/904 and 8 3/4" rear driveshaft but a 904 is 4" shorter than a 727 and an 8 3/4" extends .66" more towards the trans than an 8 1/4" from the axle centerline. My 108" wheelbase, 904 & 8 3/4" Dart Sport isn't at home so I can't measure the driveshaft in it but I believe it was closer 49"-50".

How much to shorten & balance a drivehshaft where your at?
