I got a new frame with the jeep and originally decided to wait for a while to put it under it. Well I got to looking at the old frame and man it is bad. Pretty dangerous. So I started investigating the procedure and decided to do it right while I was at it. Here's what I got.

BFG 33 12.50's
3" lift with HD shackles
Rancho 9000 adjustable air shocks from in the cab
new gas tank
sending unit
tank shield
new gas line
new brake lines
new front and rear bumpers
new HD steering stabalizer
new body mounting kit
braided flexable brake lines

It should be about new when I'm done

We start the project 1st of Nov. It should be a pretty bad a$$ jeep.

2,,, The Cuda should be done tonght. Then to the chasis dyno tues and then one trip to the drag strip and then away for the winter. The Jeep is kind of a surprise thing. It belonged to a real good long time friend of mine who bought it new. I didn't really want a jeep but I wanted his Jeep. I grew up seeing this Jeep drive up and down the street and alway's thought it was cool. Plus it's got a 304 with header's and sounds cool. I bought it dirt cheap and when finished won't even have $5000 grand in it. I bought that 99 Goldwing recently and sold it and made more than what I'll have in this Jeep so I guess you could say it's free. Plus now I have a winter toy. :D

......you sure you don't want to adopt me? I don't do rude things in public, sleep in out-of-the way places, and can wrench on your car.

I can also bring with me one more project for you .... :D

Congrats on the Jeep!
