I'm changing from drum to disc onmy 68 Dart. I have some parts from a 73 Dart. I know I need the larger upper ball joints but what about the lowers, do they stay the same?

Are the lower ball joints different than the ones that came with my /6 drums?

if you have the disk brake spindles that came off the 73 year car, which you should if ur doing a disc brake conversion, you will need disc brake lower ball joints. and yes, ull need the upper control arms too.

Doing the swap with parts from the 73
Both UCA with BBJ
both spindles,rotors,calipers,flex lines
change to BBJ on your existing LCA
don,t forget to grab the prportioning valve and master cylinder with rod from the donor car(if useable)
Good luck.

if you cant find the uca there is a sleeve kit on ebay for the smaller ball joint to disc brake spindle for around $50. but i recomend going to the bigger ball joint.
