The stock 8 3/4 I have for my 73' duster has the small bolt pattern lugs, So I either want to get new axle shafts with the big bolt pattern or a different 8 3/4. I was told that a few 8 3/4 rearends from other dodge vehicles fill the wheel wells better (and the possibility of larger tires as well). Anyone know what vehicles to look for rearends out of?

Don't see why you would need a new rear end. Just get new axles for it. If you are going up to BBP then you are going to need new wheels. Just get a set with the offset you need for the look you are going for and get wider tires. That should do it.

You can get BBP axles, like yukons, but you'll also need to get a BBP brake set up. The SBP brakes will not work with the BBP axles. Even if you drill the drums, the axle standoff length is different.

You can drill the SBP axles and drums to large bolt. It's not that bad, any reputable machine shop should be able to do it. The holes get close to the edge of the axle, but, they do work. Not the best solution IMO

Stick with the small bolt which has a limited selection of wheels available. Replacement brake shoes are getting tougher to find for them too.

You can get a rear from a B body car and get wheels with more offset to make up for the longer overall length. About 1.5" on each side.

That's a 68 B-body rearend in a Duster with 15x7 4.125" backspacing wheels. You should be able to easily run off the shelf wheels if you put one of the 65-70 b-body axles in.

I'll be putting at minimum 7.5 inch tires under the back as I'm doing a 5.7 hemi swap, and want lots of bite.
