hello, i have been told several different things on duster fender interchangeability. some say 70-71, 72-74, 72 only. 70-72? i know the marker lens is different. i need a passenger fender for a 72. is this a lone year fender only, or will the others work, with some massaging? thanks

70-72 are for the same front end of a 70-72 duster. The 72 just had a different reflector on it. The 73-74 are the same for those model years. The cane be used on a 70-72 frontend but the reflector is the same as the 72 and they lack the bracket to help hold the grill that the 70-72 fenders have.
70 flush marker
71 flush marker same as 70 except for the hood pin slots cut in for nut access
72 plastic marker same as 70 71 no hood pin slot
73-76 same as 72 except 73-76 does not have the bracket to hold upper grill support used on 70-72
They will all interchange 73 up will need the bracket welded on for the grille support to use 72 and earlier grille. Other than that 70 71 have different markers. I have one 70 fender on my 71 . I had to cut in the square slots to use the factory hood pin hardware. The other side is a 75 added grille support and cut in the hood pin slot.
