EARLY A ENGINE MOUNT Question!!

-
I don't remember if the brackets are the same or not, but the isolators are the same both sides and are also the same as slant cars of those years.

The steel brackets differ L & R. The 2 in the ebay photos look exactly the same. I recall a triangular side on only one of the brackets. I probably have photos at home, but may forget to post, and pretty sure you can find them here in a search. You also need to know which side of the block's "ears" the brackets attach to, which several posts discuss. I forgot, but did verify that mine are installed correctly.

"Engine mounts" should refer to the rubber isolators that some people above discuss. I forgot if L & R differ, but they are much thicker than the later "pancake" mounts (maybe 67 - 72). The later can fit if you **** them and drill a hole in a mount (I did), but your engine will sit lower (could be good). I switched back to the thicker mounts.
