This picture was just taken yesterday at MMW. Made it 3 rounds in the first race and 2 rounds in the second race. Great time and Kil-Kare is shaping up to be a great track!
Congrats. That's a pretty serious 66 you have there. How fast does she go?
Out of 5 pass's it ran 6.34 3 times and 6.35 the other 2. Haven't made it to a 1/4 mile track yet.
That's Howard's car. He is from my neighborhood, just a few blocks from my house. Just saw the car on Sunday. This particular car was the subject of a 3 part article by Al K that appeared in Hot Rod back in the 90s. The article documented one of the earliest Magnum conversions. It's converted to EFI now.

great pics. i have seen some of them. in Tulsa in the late 60s. in 1968 gene snow brought the new rambucticus funny car. he wanted to run in the funny car class. but NHRA put him in a altered class. and he cleaned up. also there was a 1935- 36 plymouth with a Hyper-Pack slant 6.
The HEMI Valiant running against my Dad's Studebaker gasser... and the Valiant @ speed out in front of the 'ole Studebaker, @ the Meltdown Drags at Byron Dragway
This is the Valiant I sold to the Renteria Brothers in 1980 which got them started with the 4 door style. They sold it to Kenny Moorhead a few years ago. I paid $125 for it back around 1974 when it had the 273 two-barrel and a burned valve.
Here's a recent photo of mine at Las Vegas.
Mine...finally running right and staying together last weekend
Know anything about this car Cudaguy?
Hey Phil, refresh our memories. What's your combo and how fast does she go? Looks great! tmm
