Early B-Body Fever...........

-
I'm an early B fan too. I've had my 64 Polara for 23 years. It started with a 318 went to a 360 and is now on its 2nd 440.The 360 now resides in the 65 Valiant.

Here's a beauty!

My plans are to do a N/SS early B. I have a 63 fury hardtop X drag car,a nice 64 savoy, and a 64 sport fury to chose from. Saving money now, for body and paint. I have the complete drivetrain. Will be a few years though. Hope to have done by the time I turn 60.

Lots of nice B's in this vid. Enjoy.

I did have one a few years back, sold it to my oldest son. He still has it, doesn't drive it much. He has three little kids. It's a pretty cool car though! Brand new rebuilt 440, brand new 727 TCI tranny. I'm sure he would entertain some offers or trades??

I like my '65 Belvedere, even if it is a 4 door..... lol

Early B bodies are one of my all time favorites! I've had a bunch of em. Everything from 2 doors to wagons. Here is my 64 Belvedere awaiting love. I'm in the market for a 62 Dodge 2 door project. Don't care the model or if its a post or hard top 😁

I,ve always been a fan of the B-body Belvedere,s and Polara,s.I look at my 66 Dart post car as my miniature Belvedere :DTo me it looks like just a smaller version of those famous B-bodies.:burnout:

Feel the same about my 64 Valiant. Just dig early A and B cars.

I am an A body boy racer through and through,

But I think I qualify as a closet early B man also.

I want my next ride to be a 62 hardtop with B body tude!

We have a thread on Facebook about history at the local drag strip which opened in 1965. This car ran here and was owned my a father son team from Nevada, Iowa not to far from me. tmm

i have to wonder if NOW might be the time to acquire those cars we lust for.??? the economy, collector car market, cattle, grits, everything runs in a cycle.??? more people in the hobby than ever, cars still turn up everyday. question is the cars we average people want, what will the disposible income be in the next few years for us average guys that buy the 65 coronets and the 64 bels. right now there are 30 cars for sale for every guy that is plopping down cash???????
we all know the wealthy deal in the real high end hemi and max wedge stuff. they buy when the mood and interest is there for them.
us little people buy when we have the esxtra cash. the economy is slowly improving, but unsettled govt business, ie health care, etc, slows us down.
I've seen the mopar market rise and fall twice now. in my opinion, its in the bottom of a cycle and has been since the economy went bust.
I figure there are 30 cars for sale for every one buyer???? me, my herd is full right now!!LOL
