Early Barracuda Car-**** Picture thread.

-
I just completed repairs after a Deer vs. Barracuda accident that occured on July16th. I purchased the grills from 66Cuda so I saw and heard his beautiful car when I went to pick up the grills. It is a very impressive car.

Steve, I saw your fish a couple of times this summer, once before the deer, and once after the deer, and I have to say the repairs were very good. Your car is impressive in itself. Here's my '65. It needs some minor rust repair, new paint, and bumpers rechromed to be on par with a lot of these posted.

No brakes and a sloppy shifter, I'll use the winter to get it right... :burnout:

Well, for some reason I couldn't get this thread to come up until now so I haven't been able to join the fun!! Here's a couple pics of my stock..the blue 66 is Mrs. C's car, the red 66 convertible is going to be a clone of Mrs. C's car so I can take over the Cuda, and the silver 66 I just sold to a local bloke!!! Geof

I would embark on a road trip for that "SUNBURNT" survivor

I have seen that black and copper altered wheel base fish around here

Nice cars!

Don't see to many of them anymore...

The last one I seen in a mag was actually a Summit catalog. It had one of the awful Chevy engines in it though:(

Here's a few pics of my 65 Barracuda. I worked at my dad's machine shop all summer when I was 10 to buy it. $500 from the original owner! I'm 34 now and it's priceless. I'll never sell it...

here is a few pictures of my 65 Barracuda formula S I am in the works for redoing it a little bit. How has a built 360 with a factory 4 sp / 8 3/4 posi in and I think it has 3.23 gears. I have it at the shop to do the paint and body work going to be a bright orange when finish. Its my winter project

Mine is getting close to being road worthy. Plans are to have it on the streets and be my daily driver by May or June. I still have to get carpeting and put the seats back in. Put the rear bumper back on, just had it re-chromed and then get a front end alignment and it's ready to go. I will tinker with all the small stuff while I am driving it.

Is that one in Nevada? I recall a few years back a buddy of mine found a silver '65 S in Northern Nevada, the guy had two or three and wanted Barrett-Jackson prices for 'em. The scenery in the background looks familiar.....

Great looking early A's!

I sure wish I knew where my '65 ended up. I sold it (like a dummy) when I was stationed in Hawaii in the mid 80's. I know it came back to the mainland becasue I saw it in the San Diego area (NAS Miramar back then). It had Cal black plates, RIP 183. White with black guts, 273 auto. Big bondo plug in the left rear 1/4 from a ham radio antenna that was removed.
