Member "pettybludart" has one done and could probably help. Might search his name here and find some threads about his car. It's real nice and runs 10's....

Hi Bryan,

My car is not mini tubbed but I've been able to stuff a big tire in it for years. I've never posted a picture here before and so I hope this works. This is an old picture but here are Mickey Thompson N-50-14's with 12" tread. There are no wheel well mods other than a minor trimming of the outer quarter flange:

Mine.
Best advice I got on this was to not try and take one long strip to fill the gap. I used eight to ten inch strips and a butt weld where they met and this made it a whole bunch easier.
It even turned out pretty O.K.

Thanks for all the pics, that's what I was thinking needed to be done. If you look in the restoration forum under (1964 dart gt by bob) you will see more pics. Car is alot further along now, I need to update it. Car is blocked and reassembled, 1 more final blocking and paint should be on it. thanks again!!
