Edelbrock manifold, which carb?

Im looking at buying an engine an it has an Edelbrock intake #2176 and I was wondering what carb will work for it?

What size is the engine? 273, 318, 340(rare) or a 360

Any 4-barrel (square or spread-bore) will fit. Depending on the size of the engine you should use a properly-sized carb though, typically 500-600 cfm for 273/318 and 650-750 cfm for 340/360.

i have a edel intake and i used a carter 625 ran good but i recently switched to the edel 500 and it works even better.hope this helps

I always use an Edelbrock carb with an Edelbrock intake.

I have a 1406 for sale in my sig. I have used the 1405 and 1406 both on the same 318 v8.
