No Pumps, No Pullys, No Belts, No Hoses, No Fuid, No Leaks, No Engine Brackets, Less Parasitic HP Drain on the Engine. ~ 35% Less Steering Effort

Not the least expensive path to Power Steering but I do like all the benefits.
Electric Assist Power Steering with my Manual Box.
360 Watt
Will need to size alternator accordingly... Not a problem with modern alternator options.
Already planned for new steering column...

 All Steering Shafts, Joints, U-Joints, and Connectors must be designed to withstand the full load of the steering system to which the electric motor is being installed.
 The Wiring, Module, and Motor must not be tampered with. Any modification to the Module or Motor will void any existing or implied warranties, if so offered.

Can't wait to see a mock up. AA- plus awarded, just for the effort.

I did a half way attempt with a unit off a midget (race car).....and gave in.....only so much room where that baby is required to reside.

Good luck.

I`d like to see finished interior pics of it on a 68 barracuda, there aint much room under there !
I would like to see finished pictures of it in my 69 Barracuda... :)
Looks like there is a less expensive option by using Saturn Vue/Chev Equinox EPAS
Found quite a few examples on Youtube and other forums.

So far, I have not found any EPAS conversions done on Mopars...
