So I have a new 440 I just put in my dart, I havent fired it up yet, filled the radiator and the passenger side rear block freeze started leaking ( good thing I used water) so I poped that out and changed it, so now I refilled it, not leaks, then front freeze plug on the same side started leaking, they are cooper, will they expand when I start it up? or do I need to change that one? and that one will be a little more diffulcult. never had this happen before?

copper or brass????????? the dorman copper are junk!!! what kind of sealer did you use on the plugs?

What's navy cement? I always use Permatex Ultra red.

I am thinking that I will replace them on that side, its a tight fit on the drivers side.

yeah I am just giving a everything a final check before I start it, and I am chasing leaks, pain in the ***.

Make sure the hole is clean and dry ditch the copper switch to brass put a good coating of red loctite gel on them, drive it in straight and never worry about it agian
