[WANTED] engines wanted

I have been lurking on this and various other automotive forums and have gotten really excited about entering the classic car hobby.To start off,I was wondering has or knows of a slant six for sale.I am also looking for either a chrysler flathead or polyhead engine if anyone knows of one of these engines for sale.I am in the twin cities metro area of minnesota and any help is appreciated.Thanks.

I want to thank everybody for the replies.The project I had in mind is more defined now and I've decided I would really like a chrysler or desoto flathead instead.I know this is a little outside this forum but any help in locating one would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 46 flat head still In the truck and the last I cheacked still turnet over if interested carb to oil pan say 350.00+the ride..........Artie
