Has anyone had any issues with the Remflex exhaust manifold gasket ?
The one available from Summit .

Remflex is all I'll ever use anymore. Just know once you have it on,its on no reusing.

I have re-used my collector gaskets multiple times. Sometimes half the gasket comes apart on one side of the collector, but I just reinstall it in the same position that it came apart from and no leaks. I wouldn't do it on the header flange though.

I just used one on my 75 valiant a few weeks back. I think it's pretty fantastic. I did a 2bbl conversion using a modified Offy intake which was nice and straight. I planned on reusing my original exhaust manifold and of course there was a bit of distortion.

I wasn't about to shell out scratch for machining...With the thickness/crush rate of the Remflex I was confident this wouldn't be an issue. After removing it from the package I did notice some separation of the "layers" on the outsides but remedied it by sandwiching a super thin bead of permatex copper gasket goo between the layers just in case. It's worked great so far.

I ordered another one for my 74 valiant... But whoever (AMZN) packaged it screwed me... A replacement is on the way.
(See ridiculous shipping)

Like @1963dartgt said... I can definitely understand it being a one use gasket.

Good luck!

I've also used remflex on my 66. I got mine from Amazon and had a similar issue like above with whoever put it in the box. It was crushed on the corner. Amazon sent a replacement and it was perfect.
It doesn't take much torque when put on so pay attention to the instructions. I was thinking I hadn't even torqued it enough and was tempted to go a little farther but didn't. It's been great going on 2 years now. It was well worth the extra dough.

A little extra money is worth not having to pull the manifolds again for sure, especially if you had trouble with any of the studs or hardware. I used it on my slant and had zero leaks, happy engine. Also use them now on my 340 manifolds which are rough in texture and can leak easily; and they sure did with normal thin gaskets. Remflex made them leak proof.
