Exhaust manifold sealing surface

I have an exhaust manifold with a pretty thin spot near the bolt area (see pic). The sealing surface is along the perimeter of the flange correct? Any opinions on weather or not this is ok to use? The exhaust manifold gaskets I plan to use would be remflex and the manifold is the 340 68-70. Sealing surface has some pitting however, i do plan on having the manifolds machined

I would look for another manifold. It might seal but it might not.

That was originally a machined flat surface. I would mill them flat again, then no need for a gasket either.
