Hi,
I just got my new 6.1 crate/complete engine package.Thought it would be a good idea to familiarize myself with with the wiring while it`s still on the engine stand.
Coils and injector harness ok.
XFI and XIM harness can`t be right, only two plugs fit, but the labels don`t correspond , H20 plug (XFI harness) fits the IAC, Crank plug (XIM harness) fits the Oil pressure switch.
Items were specifically supplied to run boost with 727 trans.
Here are the part #`s of management system
#301000
#301104
#301208
#301314
#301406
#307004
#307004
BBK cable operated TB #1791
IAC 486155AC
TPS 5017479aa
I checked the #`s on the FAST site and they seem to be correct,I will have to wait to the new year to contact FAST, Any ideas in the mean time would be great.
Thanks.

I have the same kit Part numbers I have are
301982 xim harness for hemi stand alone
30201 coil harness
301104 xfi main harness
301314 xim box
301000 xfi box
If there is anything else I can help you with like pics of harnesses let me know

Trevor

Did it come with a schematic? Verify that the labels are correct. Small but real possibility is that the labels were misapplied.

I have Fast Hemi 5.7 kit, only H20 connector was not correct, it was made for GM sensor, which was on the kit anyway... But I switch the pigtail from OEM mopar harness. In the pictures your IAC, TPS are GM type, I notice that you have mopar TPS sensor. I think Fast allways assume that people are using GM type throttle body and sensors.
Otherwise your connectors look just like 5.7, I cannot confirm are they same on 6.1. You can find schematics on CCom software after you load it to your computer, if they didnt supply in boxes.

Black dart.
Thanks for the pics. Your plugs appear to be the same as mine have you tried mocking the harness to your motor??

I just did this two days ago for an export motor. All went perfect except you need an oe air temp sensor instead of the gm piece in the kit. Works with GM tps in the cable throttle body and supplied o2 sensor without a hitch.

I am using the Fast TB so the IAC and TPS should work, I have not tried to dry fit to engine, I will do that once the turbo's and piping are fabed and I remove the engine.

My bad, I thought that pics you send was from shags, he had a mopar number as a TPS sensor. Fast throttle have right stuff so no probs.

I have the 6.1 XFI/XIM kit as well, my harness has the same connectors as Black69 does ad it all connects up just right. Like GTmachine says, I just need to buy a mopar air temp to match the harness....

I should mention I will be using the FAST supplied Throttlebody as well.

well i rang FAST and apparently Hemi crate motors have different sensors to the engines fitted to cars and trucks.
So i have two options buy new sensors or replace the plugs, new sensors would be easier but costly!
I tried to upload some photos but it tells me the file is to large.

Do you have a 6.1? Cause you cant get a 6.1 in a truck. Try and get a hold of someone at fast and send them a e-mail with the pics. Maybe someone screwed up when putting on the labels.

I wouldn't buy that Shags...maybe find a guy with an SRT and take a couple of your sensors in to compare them?

Re - pics?..check out photobucket....create an album, upload you pics, copy the media link starting

You should be able to figure out what goes where with the pics I posted. If you need more pics of a certain plugs ask and I will post them. I also have a factory harness that I labeled so if you need picks of the stock plugs I can get that for you too.

Thats a screw up, send that stuff back and have them send the right stuff to ya on their dime!!!

Still those throttle body connectors are for GM sensored throttle body, not for Mopar...Seller supposed to tell you that.

So you guys got me worried so I went and pulled out the factory harness to compare all the plugs. All my plugs are the same except the crank sensor. The crank plug is the same as the oil pressure plug on the factory harness. Did you guys get any oil pressure plugs on your fast harness?
