A beautiful night in Seaside Heights for the Jersey Shore Mopar Show.

Nice to be driving it around.

I did have a friend come up this past Sunday come up to my place to give me and estimate to finish mine.
He has not gave me the price yet, but I am pretty sure he has the job, I just want it done, too many other car projects.

I normally do all my paint work, but my kids car got side-swiped a couple of months ago parked in front of the house, hit-n-run so I need to get that fixed.
My old jeep needs some attention, and I have a pos rust bucket cuda on my car trailer that need finished stripped out.
Not counting the house projects before winter, so at the moment I am over-my-head in stuff to do.
And then there is that pesky thing called a job 5 days a week.

Friday night I went out and just drove the car around. Made few stops, had a couple beers along the way. Completely enjoyed getting compliments on the car....

Don't get in the beer too much and scratch that pretty piece of jewelry.

Duster fixer and pool kit installer.
Had to go in to remove the plumbing test plugs. My kids are calling me Aquaman!

This past Saturday I took the car up to Sussex County where I grew up. The Chatterbox drive in has been sold and will be torn down to put up a super Wawa store and gas station. I was an hour and a half drive up there and the car ran great. She is a real Highway Star!

A huge variety of cars and people showed up for the next to last cruise night at this place

It was nice to drive Misty on the streets of my youth...

Went out for cruise with my son last night. We had to stop and take this photo. Old and new Chrysler!

Good photos taken in the customer parking lot of Circle Chevrolet. Lighting is good in this lot at night.

Spotted this dragster fish while cruising Red Bank. Had to stop and get a pic. Love just driving Misty around...

Bob, the car looks awesome, you should be proud!!!
Thanks Alex. Misty is a fine fine cruiser. The car is turning out as I hoped it would. She is particularly happy going down the interstate at 70 but is just as well suited to crawl down Main Street at 20. Stereo blaring of course!

You did an excellent job on her, just look at the photo's of when you drug it home.
I knew you were in it for the long haul when you had the kids working on in, in a storage building of all places, that took alot of dedication.

They are all so proud that we just kept at it. We all love the old girl....

My favorite picture from the teardown...

You kinda forget all the work that goes into them, to get them to look like what yours does now. Its a lot of hrs.
Every time I finish one, I say never again, until I buy the next one...
The wife said one time, how much does it cost to buy a "done" one, I told her and she said just buy it because you will have more in them than that.

I just ordered the Borgeson Universal steering box for the car from Summit

How's that front bench seat holding up for you ?
Pretty good over all! The black dye is pretty durable but has shown some wear here and there. I have touched it up in a couple spots.
A new cover is on the to do list at some point in the future....
