Favorite smells

I remember driving my '70 Charger home when I was a teen all the time at nite (spring/summer) when the oranges were in blossom. What a nice smell.

R4Sedan, the smell of orange blossoms on a warm spring/summer night are wonderful! And something you don't get to smell much here in SoCal much anymore as so may of the orange groves have given way to houses.
There's still a few groves around and the occassional whiff of orange blossoms instantly take me back years.
Ironically, I live in Orange County and my home is on property that was part of my great-grandfathers orange ranch a lot of years ago.

Even though I don't smoke, on a cold winters day some smoking a cigarette outside smells great to me.

The smell of Cox Fuel for glow plug engines, Klotz or Blendzall castor in 2 cycle dirt bikes, and karts.

1-Just opened can of coffee

2-New box of Crayola crayons

3-A freshly diapered baby

4- After a rainshower

5-A fat, sweaty, naked chick

My girlfriends pillow
wood stove in the winter from outside the house
vanilla on a girls body
fresh baked bread
bacon
gasoline
ppg paint

Here's my weird thought for the day.

Most people don't find "woodsmoke" objectionable.
Many people would say it is "pleasant".
Now, think about that.
Why is it that humans don't dislike the smell of most all burning wood?
It could very easily stink to us.
Have we learned to like that which was at one time the only feasible way of warming ourselves?
Or is there a plan?

I do like the smell of an old car.
And what I call "Florida motel smell" from my child hood.
And anything to do with the ocean.
