Fender lip question 1974 Dart Sport

Working on the fenders and found that the upper part of the wheel arch is rolled in on both fenders. the length of the roll is about 14" or so and is the same on both fenders. I assume a PO did not want to rip up his/her new tires and massaged the lip a little for added clearance. But you know what they say about assuming anything and Ma Mopar has done some strange **** in the past, so I figured I would ask before I put the lip back to straight. Straight or rolled?

I found my answer to my question by looking at a fender that was for sale on this site in the past. The rolled over area is "factory" so I am glad I stopped before fixing what was not broken. Photo from Hyper_Pak listing.

Most factory fenders have a slight roll on that top section
