Fender Skirt Repair Ideas (Inner Fender)

Sorry if this is in another thread but I couldn’t find any topics on this specific issue.
This 70 Duster is getting ready for a RH frame rail replacement, RH Inner fender and RH rad support work and once I removed the fenders I found the LH Inner fender had this nut clip hole issue and
I wanted to see if anyone has repaired these holes which hold the nut clips for the top row of fender bolts. This project is almost ready for the body shop and I want to have some ideas before they suggest replacing the entire inner fender. Thanks

I just got the frame rails and lower sections of the inner fender from @crackedback to do similar repair.
He may have that top section for that repair.

Can you, or do you have access to a MIG welder? I would cut out the rusty little sections, make new pieces from sheet metal & weld them in. I would think that if you're doing all that other work on the right side, fixing these would be cake for you or the person doing the work on the right side.

1st find replacement top, then cut the top lip off and weld used lip on.
