78kitcar - Stopped at TJ's last night on the way home and could not find any frozen soup in any of the frozen products cases. Really wanted to try that frozen french onion soup. What other products are around it at your local TJ's?

Screw frozen soup....Campbells french onion is the ONLY soup.

Those Shrimp are redikulous.....for sure.

I like to drink miller lite and eat them off the barBQ.

That shrimp recipe does sound good. I`m 1/2 Italian so if a recipe has onion, garlic, and Prosciutto ham in it, I`m already sold.

As most of you know I like making a big pot of something that will feed me and the wife and still be able to leave it alone and go fishing or tracking
here is a great Beef ‘n Beer Casserole
are you looking for an easy crock pot meal?*
This is a recipe where you just put all the ingredients into the*Crock-pot Slow Cooker and 2 1.2 lbs of topside other steak, cut into chunks
1 cup beef stock
3/4 cup beer
3 tabs tomato puree
1 tab minced garlic
1 carrot and onion chopped
1 stick celery chopped
bouquet garni *
sprinkle of oregano
Place all ingredients into crock pot and cook on low for 8 - 10 hours. Stir once or twice only and thicken with a little flour or gravy mix 15 minutes before serving. Remove bouquet garni and serve with vegetables and rice or mashed potato.*Yummy in my tummy

LOL, I'll Bite..........

BBQBobby's BBQ sauce........

Six pack of strawberry soda.
Same amount in Ketchup.
4oz of vinegar.

Dump into big pot and get simmering.

Then add....

A four ounce can of chili powder.
half a four ounce can of black pepper.
2/3 cup raw sugar, brown sugar, anything but white nasty sugar.
one of those baseball sized mustards.
2oz of tabasco..... MMMMMMMM!
a 4oz shaker full of garlic salt.
a half cup of minced onion.

Simmer it until the vinegar has burned off, you will know when that is, LOL.

Best way to use it, is to smoke ribs with it. I smoke my ribs, NOT boiled, for like 6 hours. (Around 200f) At first, you have to rub raw sugar on the ribs, to get them caramelized so the sauce will stick, and then..... Oh, once it starts sticking, and once it starts cooking....... You will have to keep your mouth closed, and swallow.
Even the smell of the sauce will instantly make you mouth water.

You can also use orange soda, doesn't make much of a difference, I like the strawberry because the die in it turns the out crust on the meat bright red.

Now, funny part is, I have to actually go make this sauce, for ribs tomorrow.

Ok you all knew this was coming so here it is.
