I know it's nothing new but I love the fact that you can hook an FM transmitter to your Laptop and get great Quality sound through your Favourite audio system. I've been watching Youtube Midnight Special videos. There are so many Live performances to see. You just have to love it if you're a music Fan Like I am. Gotta love Peter Frampton. Here's a link:

Or you can just get a 1/8" stereo mini plug to RCA adapter and just plug it into your earphone out on the laptop to the RCA aux plugs on the back of your reciever. The cable can be had for well under 20 bucks for a high one, or 10 bucks for a cheapy.

Love the midnight special programs.

I usually do the same off my Android phone.Saw Frampton live,10 years ago.Awesome live!

What would it take to play videos off my laptop on my 60 inch tv and use my stereo for sound? I have my tv connected to my stereo but how would I input my computer into it?

What outputs does your tv have? (what are the names of the connections)
If you tell me the model of the laptop and what your connections on your tv are I can hook ya up.

Oh, sorry for the edit.
I have a cellphone with FM transmit and it's great.
Load a bunch of of music on the memory card and tune her in.

That's Sweet Trailbeast. May I ask what Cell phone you have? My son uses the MacBook Pro to watch Videos through My Sony Bravia. He uses HDMI output and earphone jack for Audio.
