I haven't seen them in early A bodies but thats not to say dusters didn't have them (maybe the did?) if your after a foot E brake I'm sure a F/M/J setup would swap without much fabercation
I've had 65, 66, 71, 72, 74, 75, and 76 A-bodies. I don't recall any of them having one. The only Mopars I've ever owned that had them were my 86 and 99 Ram.
God I hope someone says there was an A body that had a foot operated e brake. My biggest ***** with these cars is the e brake. If its possible to go to the kick panel style I would be all over it.
yep , it's a 1976-only deal . Same goes for the windshield-mounted interior rear view mirror .
i'm with you regarding the pull-handle e-brake ; didn't like it !
Wouldn't you know it? The last year they make the A-body, they install a foot operated emergency brake. LOL
I actually prefer the handbrake as an emergency brake. It is easier to modulate and prevent rear wheel lock up. I also liked the handbrake for taking off when facing up hill at a stop sign or light. Much easier for me to operate than a foot operated emergency brake in those situations.
