ive been wanting this kit 65 b-cuda for many years, my dad built one when i was a kid,,,well i modified it years later, and now want to rebuild what my dad built, original issues were big money and few and far between,,,,so the new release,doesnt have a motor as the original didnt either, but the original came with a max wedge style hood scoop,the new one doest,,,its also no as good of quality,but it will do,had a dent in the doorand mold lines that are hard to get rid of,,,,more sanding down to 10,000 grit will clean it up and if not scratch fill primer ill do,,i didnt know this forum had a model section, nice to come back here,here is a pic of th e body

K-frame and torsion bar assy. looks good, wheel attachment not so much. 8-3/4 looks wonky. Nice that exhaust is seperate and it has a single strap for the gas tank. Looks easy enough to install an engine. Thanks for the video!

hey bob, this one will be to replace the model my dad built,that i destroyed when i was probably 12 ish,,,i must of had a premination,i took the barracuda he built,which was gold on gold, tore the hood scoop off,but a hole in the hood, it might of had a hole under the scoop that came with the kit,,, i took the engine out of the lil coffin car he built and put it in the barracuda,carbs out of the hood, big rear tires, painted it black,sound familiar ???? so far ive built the blue beetle truck he did,and the lil coffin car, now comming soon the barracuda to replace his cars, ill take a hemi under glass model to make one of my real barracuda,,,,glad to find a model section on this forum,,,,,

hi bob, not sure when ill do the model of the real car, i need to get better at details,this 65 barracuda will be pratice for the chrome parts on it and the 66 funny car and copy of my barracuda,,,it might be the next ones to get ready after the 3 im preparing currently the 66 funny car requires a 2 tone paint,paint color tests thursday,if i get lucky ill paint the parts for the 65,but temps falling late thursday there saying

mmmm... I've always wanted a model of a real car I own but I have a tamiya Honda jazz kit AND ZoomOn gd3 fit accessories to make it just like my real car.
Sadly getting the 1/1 Honda Fit daily looking good took all of my drive and motivation. My recently acquired barracuda, we will see. I am buying the kit. Maybe it will happen.

so what real car are you trying to build a model of ? im going to build a model of my prostreet barracuda, and a 73 road runner i had when i was a kid,,,,good lock with your build
