Looks like my condenser has a small leak in a joint, see bubble. Is this something that can be repaired or should I start looking for another one?

Is that copper or aluminum, I cannot tell in the photo. If that's copper you can fix it. You need Oxy/Acetylene tourch, and a special HVAC brazing rod known commonly as "Sil-fos"

There are of course ways to TIG or gas braze aluminum, but what COMPLICATES it is there is no good way to get rid of the oil (compressor oil) and I would not try and repair alumium

I believe it's aluminum. Thanks for the response. That is good info. Guess I'll start looking for another one!
