Frame rail repaired.

Well I got the frame rail done and am quite happy with how it came out for my first try at frame repair. Motors back in trans all hooked up fenders and hood all back on. Gotta wire back up finish up the front then start on the inside. Feeling good about the job I did though.
 
That's nice! Good job! Wish I had known about them when I did mine. I fabricated my own pieces and welded them in. Awful lot of work for what I get out of it.

Would those have fit a 66 tho? It says for 67 to 76 in the link. Dennis
 
Nice job, I Likie I had to do the same but I replaced the whole rail was a lot of work cause I removed the inner fender
 
To upload pictures, you MIGHT have to be a paid member. At least on some sites this is true, however I think the right to post pictures does not expire even after membership expires, at most sites. search this site and find out.
 
reduce the size of your pictures,.. they are too large.
As long as your a registered user-- pics are free-- post them up!!!

It's a good idea to hit those parts with weld-through primer before you install them. If you didn't there's bare metal on the backside you can't reach to paint.
