I agree with you. I didn't know if you knew about the pans being available I was only trying to be helpful. I think that the idea for the hood is going to be awesome. Good luck with your build.

Not yet..... I do plan to do it to my 68 B'cuda, when I'm done building the kid's rides and start on my own.
But I did build one on my oldest son's 65 B'cuda 12 years or so ago.
It'll be a family identifier. LOL

Too late for that.... did it to my oldest son's 65, did it to Fred 1.0 and doing it to Fred 2.0..... hahaha
So Fred 1.0 came out of a side street with its pedal to the floor... fishtailed right, stayed in it, came all the way back around and went sideways about 4 ft down an embankment and flipped off the 3ft high concrete storm drain entry.... no physical injuries. He was strapped in and still hanging upside down when he called me.

Progress....
Hopefully the interior is mostly in place by next weekend. As well as the engine on the stand for a quick going thru, since it was upside down and all the oil came out the top.....

I think Sublime is a universal color, looks good on everything. I saw a late model HD today, Lowrider model? Looked really good in Sublime

Well, then you’re going to have to do something about that shiny engine bay, as if you leave it like that he’ll have a “backwards” thing going on. Kinda like a when the Mustang or Camaro guys paint their engine bays all shiny and black, only in reverse!
(I hope you get that, as I can’t think of how to explain it better right now.)

So the cam bearings checked out. Crank got cut 10/10. It all went back together Friday/Saturday evenings. It is 4pm, Josh is almost home, so I'm going to put my garage clothes on and we will drop her in and get most of it hooked up this evening. I got it in position at lunchtime today. As long as we clear the hood, we're golden.

Excellent progress! That hood looks great, I knew a guy a few years ago that did an AAR style scoop on a 70 or 71 Duster, looked fantastic.

Well the beast is getting fuel and spark, and kinda wants to make rumbly fire noise, but just won't come to life. Admittedly the timing was off 180. Im batting .500 in that arena. Brought number one up on compression and positioned the rotor accordingly in the direction of number one on the cap. Still no go. I'm tired. Tomorrow is another day.
