front disc not working

I have the right side caliper thet will not compress to lock up the brakes .
The caliper is new all other brakes are working fine but when I try to bleed the right front no fluid comes out or air,any advice?

Unhook your hose to caliper and see if fluid comes out. Just track it backwards and if you have not already replace hoses as that may be bad inside. Other than that can only be the line as the other side works.

I unhooked the line going in and depressed the pedal and just a small amount of fliud came out.

The rubber line? If that's the case unhook the rubber line from the steel line and try again. Quite often the rubber lines will collapse inside.

If you still get less than expected then inspect the hard line from the proportioning valve to the rubber line, look for flat spots, kinks etc.

If were my car I would replace all three. These soft lines have about a ten year safe life. All newer flexible lines have a manufacture date; if no date, hard & stiff, or cracked they are real old, and need to go.

Change all 3 of them to braided stainless, they will help with the overall braking performance by NOT expanding and allowing the fluid to do it's job.

I had that with an 82 Aries. Nothing would bleed out the caliper, though it did give some force. I had my buddy press real hard on the pedal with both feet and a bunch of rust junk blew out, then it bled fine. I starting using DOT 5 (silicone) fluid in all my non-ABS cars since and no more such problems.
