Hello everyone, I need to know what in yalls opinion is the best front end rebuild kit for a 64 a body would be. I purchased one from A resto parts and its garbage. I saw kanter auto sells one for a 200 bucks more but it has no reviews. I would appreciate knowing what you guys have gone with and what your expirience has been. Thanks- Josh

PST offers kits for your car. The one below has rubber bushings and is for drum brakes. Disc brake and polyurethane bushing kits are also available.
Original Performance Standard Front End Kit

I've purchased torsion bars and shocks from PST and have been completely satisfied, but I haven't bought a front end kit.

I haven't purchased from them, but Kanter has been in business for a long time. If they were a bad outfit, that wouldn't be the case.

Be prepared to return stuff. I ended up with poly lower control arm bushes and rubber uppers, both worked out after adjustments. Had to belt sand upper bushings to get them to fit. Yeah it's a crap shoot. Even same part, same vendor, same brand, same package, same order, different parts were inside sealed labeled bags. One fit the other didn't. At least Rock Auto's return process has been vastly improved.

I purchased one of those complete kits for my 66 years ago. (the rubber kit, no poly) It worked great.

Did the stock rubber kit from PST. The tie rod sleeves were a mess, but everything else went together ok. Having the right tools is key. The Mancini front end kit was a lifesaver.
