Post some links to the parts you are talking about and a photo of the part you plan to replaceCan someone please tell me what is the difference between windshield chrome trim molding kit and windshield reveal molding kit?

That's because they ARE two different things. The question is, which one does YOUR car have? 1967 from the factory has the first — the narrow lockstrip. Is that what your windshield gasket looks like? For future reference, if you are asking questions on this forum, tell us the year, make and model of your vehicle, and provide photos of the part in question. This will avoid a lot of useless back-and-forth trying to establish exactly what we are talking about.I see 2 different things but is hard to tell by looking at the pictures. One is a thin trim that locks into the molding but doesn't cover it completely. The second one i see covers the entire molding and fits flush into the body

There are actually 4 different things... 67 style, 67 style convertible and 68 up style and 68 up style convertible but I'm just splitting hairs SINCE WE DONT KNOW WHAT CAR THE OP IS WORKING ON!!!That's because they ARE two different things.
