Can someone please tell me what is the difference between windshield chrome trim molding kit and windshield reveal molding kit?
Thanks in advance

What car are you talking about? The 1967 Barracuda?

Who is using this terminology? I suspect they are both talking about the same thing, using different words.

On the windshield of a 1967 Barracuda fastback or notchback (convertibles are different), you have a rubber seal (also called a window gasket), and then you have the "chrome" lockstrip or molding, which is actually plastic, that snaps into a groove in the gasket. There are stainless steel pieces at each corner to cover up the joints. It doesn't matter what they call it — look at the pictures.

Post some links to the parts you are talking about and a photo of the part you plan to replace

I see 2 different things but is hard to tell by looking at the pictures. One is a thin trim that locks into the molding but doesn't cover it completely. The second one i see covers the entire molding and fits flush into the body

It's pretty simple, do you have windshield moulding clips for a '68 up style stainless trim or just the rubber gasket that I show VERY clearly in the link provided in post #4.

That's because they ARE two different things. The question is, which one does YOUR car have? 1967 from the factory has the first — the narrow lockstrip. Is that what your windshield gasket looks like? For future reference, if you are asking questions on this forum, tell us the year, make and model of your vehicle, and provide photos of the part in question. This will avoid a lot of useless back-and-forth trying to establish exactly what we are talking about.

#1 WHAT CAR ARE YOU WORKING ON? ( yes I'm yelling!)

#2 post the links to the websites your are looking at.

There are actually 4 different things... 67 style, 67 style convertible and 68 up style and 68 up style convertible but I'm just splitting hairs SINCE WE DONT KNOW WHAT CAR THE OP IS WORKING ON!!!
