I thought "If I hit it" I can get a big outboard on the "new boat" I'd like to take it for a run and see how she handles before the wx turns bad and decide to either keep it or sell it.
So I bought a cheap set of LED lights from Tractor supply and got the trailer whipped into shape, Friday, but I came in for lunch, fell asleep for about 3 hours, and when I woke, my knees hurt so bad I could barely stand. Today is not a lot better, but I got the 50hp hung, got the steering (which was a mess) rigged so it works, and got a remote shifter (did not hook up electrical) So "now" late today, I'm going to test fire this 73 Evinrude 50hp, which has nor run in 3? years, but ran good. NO SPARK. I have an identical one, but don't know it's history. Swapped the "Power pack II" CD module to no avail, but of course, don't know if it is good, either. NO SPARK. And I'm pooped, pissed, and I hurt.
Tomorrow, Sunday, is supposed to be warm but windy, and next week mostly cool. I am not happy
To finish off a tiring day, I dropped part of my 4 in 1 screwdriver into the garbage can test barrel, tho I did fish it out thanks to an old pair of channel locks
