FS 69 dart original owner

Hi guys and gals. Sorry about my first post being a car for sale. I'm listing this dart for my father who is the original owner and no longer driving. The dart is a western sport special, although after the only repaint (original color) he put swinger emblems on it. The slant 6 starts and runs good,transmission shifts like it should.The interior was redone about 20yrs. ago,at that time he also added a aftermarket sun roof.The steering linkages were rebuilt a few years ago.The rearend makes some noise and needs attention.There is some rust in the lower rear quarters and under the back window,otherwise the car is pretty clean. Car is located in northern calif and he is asking $3500 or B.O. Pm me for any questions or more pictures.

Even with the rust it is a better starting point than many I have seen (damn those vinyl tops).

Very decent price in my opinion.

Dad has always been a Mopar man. He taught me to drive in this car when it was fresh off the showroom floor. Then my mom used it to commute to work for 20yrs. Dad always loved the look of the car and kept it around as his second car. Here's a list of some of the mopars he's had over the years

Indeed, my heart sunk when my dad told me what he had done.

I've got 3K. What I don't have is room for another car. fudge! I've never been a big fan of the later model "square" cars, but I'd take a 67-69 in a heartbeat.

The only thing I had an issue with was the back space, it seems small and as you know all dart are not the same. I swapped a 74 dart swinger k member and front end disc swap onto my 69 and the passengers side tire was closer to the tip of the front fender chrome fender well trim. I trimmed the bottom on both sides and haven't had a problem since. You can't beet them for $400.
I really like them super nice rims and the brakes get plenty of air flow. I had issues with my old Crager SST not getting enough air and the brakes would heat up under heavy driving in San fran.
