Looking for fuel tank for Aussie 1968 VE Valiant Regal Safari Wagon. Same front end as 67 Dart. Wondering if anyone knows if Dart tank fits val wagon. Aussie filler is on US drivers side so a starting point. All help appreciated

The 1968 VE Valiant Regal Safari Wagon has a pretty unique setup, but since it shares a front end with the '67 Dart, there's a chance the tank might fit. The best bet is to check the dimensions and mounting points of both tanks.

what's it look like on the underneath?
Sorry for the overload.
Tank is 31" long x20 1/2 wide x11" deep. Filler is 2" internal 2 1/4 outer lip
Mount strap 12" from rear .
Spare wheel recess is offset approx 3" left 4 " right
Sender/pickup 11 " from your passenger side. Sender/float /pickup is 10 " long X 8" wide. Thanks for your help. I know US didn't have A body wagons in 60s. Ours were mostly Canadian with a mix of US and Aussie content until early 70s.

Yes it does. And My first thought was a Dart tank as they are our 69-71 coupe
My only concern is in the length and filler size. My tank is 31 long and these are 29. Looking at the spare recess it looks like the 2" is in the filler end and I don't have any filler neck to spare or movement in the recess area. Also when they talk filler size do you know if it's inside or outside diameter.mines 2 internal but 2 1/4 outer lip. Thank again for your help with this.
