You'll be sorry! Lower the back and prevent the destruction of the front suspension parts and tires. Just throw a **** load of weight in the trunk. Who knows you may even do wheelies.

Love the gasser look but that's not the way to get it! 65'
Well, yes and no. You can to a extent. There is a point where you will not be able to align the front end if you go too high.As Oldmanmopar stated a combination of lowering the rear along with razing the front can get you close to the look you want..
I have a parts car and thought what the heck,
might as well have fun with the leftovers.
Wheel/tire combo will help too.But you won't be able to get close to the straight front axle look.

Not the best way but cranking the bars up and a pair of Hi Jackers gets you the look. (late 70's photo)

I jacked up my torsion bars on my 64 sport Fury. Took it for a high speed run. The front end started bouncing off the ground at about 80. Scared the **** out of me. I was 17.

Makes me think of some of the fixes we used on the old torsion bar Bugs for the desert 
This is mine, 1.03 bars cranked up. And a 440 in there to boot
