Geat shift removal from colunm

Looking at removing the gear shifter from steering colunm. Anybody know how or know of a video of showing how to do it. I've looked at new columns and they are way out of my price range. Any help is appreciated

do you just want to pop the lever off or are you talking about swapping the collar over to the [floor shift] smooth one without an indicator?

Sorry, should have been more specific. I would liketo swap it over cause I will be running s floor shifter

it's fairly straight forward albeit slightly fussy affair. you can do it in the car, but it's *much* easier with the column out and clamped up in a vice.

the FSM has the nitty gritty and exploded view diagrams which i found super helpful. so if you don't have one down load one!
