So I'm seeing all over the net where Glen Ray is maybe closing because Ray is retiring. Does anyone know something concrete?
Funny, i never liked people much, but i never thought about what you just said.....just soldiered on!!and just get tired of modern business/people.
I was lucky enuf a member up here mentioned a gentleman that's 90 min away. I think his name is Don. Redid my 69 340 rad, added another row(non ac rad) and it was exemplary. Cost me $600 Canuck bucks. He has to be in his mid 80's now.
I thought someone here might actually know the guy. It's a little more classy than callin him up and sayin "Hey I heard you're on the way out......."You posted this on a Monday but didn't just call and ask?
Lol ok, fair enough. Just seemed odd, you're not one for the rumor millI thought someone here might actually know the guy. It's a little more classy than callin him up and sayin "Hey I heard you're on the way out......."
No. I'm not. Moreover, I don't particularly like stickin my nose in somebody's business. I didn't wanna call the guy based on a rumor.Lol ok, fair enough. Just seemed odd, you're not one for the rumor mill

There used to be several in KC, and starter/ alternator shops too.It is getting harder and harder to find a radiator shop. We used to have a few in Topeka, but no more.
