It's a 68 GT with a draw through 4 bbl 318 turbo.

hot pipe exits where fenderwell headers would on pass side, but is cleaner.

What should I look for that would be a deal killer or high dollar fix?

Not really intimate with turbo setups but did own a CS turbo Daytona with a "widget" overbooster about 1991-ish.

Thanks!

Noticed from photo-

1 Appears to have disk brake m/c- good!

2 Hose from w/p to intake is bloated- common but not good.

3 Hot pipe looks like a shielding pipe is actually bolted to fenderwell- perhaps true exhaust pipe is inside?

4 M/c is painted...suggest cheap/quick disguise of firewall.

Holy Hi-Rise Batman!

The carb base I recognize, early Turbo City / Nicson part.

The feed to the manifold looks hand made.

Probably runs ok, that T04 will be about out of wind around 430 hp.

Should run ok, may need a little extra choke / crank on a cold start.

Looked at car today.

Fuel was pouring from the fuel cell when I showed up.
They started it anyway and it did sound pretty mean.
Body was TOAST though.
Trunk rails were completely gone, I mean literally.
Window corners both front and rear rusted through enough for fingers
Bottoms of all fenders and quarters fist sized holes.
Cowl looked like swiss chese.
Wheel tubs poorly made, and interior panel to cover them was corrugated shed siding.

Pass.

Neat though.

how much was he asking? the wiring looked like a fire waiting to happen....

It certainly lacks attention to detail, but it has potential.
