Going to order these con rods

I'm going to order these con rods for my 70 340. What we're doing to it it will probably have a little more than 400 hp. What do you think about these?

Gotta agree with this! Excellent rod for the money. For most of us here, it is a perfect rod for what we are doing. I like the whole line from Scat. Strong, economical, excellent for the hot rod and light & medium race guys.

Good choice. I got a set waiting to go in a 340, good looking piece, and as stated lighter than stock. Pair them with a lighter piston and she'll rev up nice.

They went down a buck.
The new price is $367.99 (according to the link posted above)
That's 484.30 Canadian as of today, the exchange rate is a kick in the nuts for us Canadian car guys, but is still a good deal.
I would say go for it, Richie.............

Picked up a set for $400 Canadian taxes in a few year back for a 340 build, local shop had them on the self after someone never picked them up...it was not worth even thinking about using the originals for that price. The machine shop just cut the counter balancers on the factory crank to get it balanced.

I have a set in my 340 , 400 ish hp.
For the money it didn't make sense to re-use 50 year old stock rods.
Plus their lighter and stronger..
