Kept passing by this house with a Duster you could just barely see from the road. I finally decided to stop today. Asked the guy if that was a Duster in back of his house and he say it was and it was for sale. He planned on crushing it and some other cars he had back there NEXT WEEK!! He said, "$50 and it's yours.". 
Typical rust...bottom of rear quarters, a hole in the floor, rust around the taillights....he says it runs and drives!!, has a leaning tower of power, the buzzin' half dozen, slant six!! 'Gold Duster', green with green bench seat interior, air condition dash. Told him I'd come back this afternoon if I was interested. He said if I wanted it, I could just take it! But I ended up giving him $40 and he will help me get it to my place.
Funny thing...when I was handing him the 2 twenties, his dog jumped up and grabbed one and took off! The guy got it back though, after yelling at the dog. He must know when his master is serious!

I wish I could get that lucky! There's a 68 Coronet here in town for sale I'm gonna call about it later. It's got a slant 6 as well. I thought that was kinda odd for such a large car. :?
