Looks great!
Suggestion: Line the inside with felt board, available at any craft store. Its about 2/32nd thick, very durable and, it will give you a stock look with the aluminum strength. Also, no rattles and everything put in there won't slide around making noise.

I'm with pishta on this one I would have to coat it in rubber on the inside the rattling might drive me crazy, and we wouldn't want that now would we

Line it with felt,spray it with rubber or coat it in lard either way i need me one of those.

In my B Body we made the same thing. I bolted the radio inside, it doesn't move around. For the little stuff, a little cushioning sounds like a good idea. Felt?
