Granny's Duster
Well-Known Member
I found this car on ebay. 75 Duster, slant 6, automatic, A/C only 43,000 miles. Drum brakes all the way around. Pretty good shape, but will need lots to make a muscle car clone. It was sitting awfully low when I got it so I installed some HD leaf springs and stiffer torsion bars. Next, I bought a front disc brake kit from Master Power brakes, and also replaced the brake lines. The kit was pretty easy to install. I also replace the ball joints, shocks etc. and installed a front sway bar. The handling is greatly improved!http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/attachment.php?attachmentid=&stc=1

Now I am rewiring the car. I bought a wiring harness from Ron Francis wiring, and I am replacing the dash insert with some gauges. As I proceed I strip and repaint all sheetmetal. I have removed a lot of insulation and I am replacing it with Dynamat extreme. It will make it quieter, but heat and cold?http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/attachment.php?attachmentid=&stc=1
